What if the transcendental object at the end of history is our radical integration into the whole of Gaia consciousness and the end of egoism.

So right now, if we want nature to work for us, we force it to after substantially dominating it through feats of science and engineering. This domination of nature however has led to us dominating each other and ourselves as we are nature. The web of life created us, we were not brought into this world we were grown from this world like an apple on an apple tree.

What if instead of forcing nature to do our bidding we asked it. What if instead of assuming most of the nature around us isn't sentient, and is just there for us to use and abuse (thanks Christianity), we assumed that is was sentient and can be communicated with.

Since the beginning of life on the planet, ecosystems have been evolving in such a way as to promote balance within and between them. When things get out of balance, there is a shift so that things can return to balance. All life depends on all other life. We already know that plants communicate with each other, that various other animals have ways of communicating with each other. Why is it so insane to think we couldn't communicate with mushrooms and trees and shrubs and grasses?

Maybe the key is entheogens. Plant medicine that allows us to reintegrate with Gaia consciousness. Maybe if we radically shifted our view from egoist domination of nature to radical integration with nature, we could simply ask the earth to help us live in harmony with it, and to ask it what it needs from us to heal it and help keep it in balance.

Five dried grams in silent darkness may just be the key to our continued evolution with the planet.
